A Client requested that we provide someone to coordinate the logistics of all parts and equipment for a very large capital greenfield project. Pillar Engineering was able to hire the person who had previously been doing this work and finished out the project doing an incredible job tracking the tens of millions of dollars of equipment as it was coming in.

Returned Parts Coordination
A Client requested that we provide someone to assist in returning all of the unused parts after some extremely large projects were completed. Pillar Engineering was able to provide a consultant who could make several trips to that facility and coordinate this effort remotely.

Digester Overlay
A Client requested that we provide someone to project manage a capital project to weld overlay worn areas on two digesters. Pillar Engineering was able to provide a principal consultant to run this project and it was completed safely, on budget, and on schedule.

Expert Witness Support
A Client Law Firm requested that we provide someone to help their case as an expert engineering witness. Pillar Engineering was able to provide a licensed Principal Engineer that could serve that purpose.

Autocad & Vault Training
A Client requested that we provide someone to teach Autocad basics and how to use the drawing vault at that facility. Pillar Engineering was able to provide a consultant that had a vast amount of experience with that system at a facility that used the same system. He was able to teach the project engineers at that facility how to use it.

Capital Project Development
Several Clients have hired Pillar Engineering engineers to develop capital projects from scratch, scoping the project with the in-house teams, and submitting the proposal through the various steps of capital approval. Some of the approved projects were then executed by Pillar Engineering engineers and some have been executed by the in-house engineers.

Capital Project Execution
Pillar Engineers have successfully project managed dozens of major capital projects in the food, pulp, and paper industries. In each, they have hired other engineering firms to do the detailed engineering, purchased equipment from OEMs, and hired the installation contractors to complete the projects.
