Pillar Engineering was able to provide a Senior Maintenance Consultant who could come in for a few hours before the down day and then work the outage day. This provided some time for the supervisor to concentrate on their team and the contractors had someone dedicated to their needs.

A Client requested that we provide someone to cover for a maintenance supervisor who was going to be on vacation. Pillar Engineering was able to provide a Senior Maintenance Consultant who could come in and cover that position during that time.

A Client requested that we provide someone to cover for a maintenance planner who was going to be off for an extended period. Pillar Engineering was able to provide a Senior Maintenance Consultant who could come in and cover that position for several weeks.

A Client requested that we provide someone to help in a part of the mill where they were struggling electrically. Pillar Engineering was able to provide a Senior Maintenance Consultant who used to be the electrical supervisor there to come in assist on small projects that they needed help on.

A Client requested that we provide someone to train their new technicians how to service their old pneumatic instrumentation. Pillar Engineering was able to hire one of their retired instrumentation techs and have them do the training. The training went very well, and the facility was pleased with the results.

A Client was executing a very large capital project over an extended outage. There were many critical crane lifts to be done. The mill identified that this was a large safety risk. Pillar Engineering was able to provide a Senior Maintenance Consultant who could be a dedicated critical lift coordinator that tracked all people coming and going in the affected areas.

Pillar Engineering was able to provide several Senior Maintenance Consultants who could come in and help plan that work by working with the other planners and crafts, submitting RFQs out to contractors, enetering the requisitions into the CMMS system, and creating job packets.

Pillar Engineering was able to provide several consultants who could come in and help execute the outage by managing contractors for the preplanned jobs acting as a representative of the client. This gave more time for the in-mill staff to execute the other work.
